Stephanie Hollar

Steph was born and raised in Glasgow, Montana.  She graduated from Glasgow High School in 1987 and then attended college at Montana State University.  She earned a bachelor’s of science degree with honors in marketing in 1991.  She worked as a legal secretary throughout her time at MSU.  Steph  attended law school at the University of Montana and graduated with honors in 1994.   After law school Steph worked for a short period of time  as a deputy county attorney with the Cascade County Attorney’s Office.  Steph joined Smith, Walsh, Clarke & Gregoire as an associate  in December 1994.  Steph became a partner with the firm in 1998 and is currently the managing partner. Steph is on the Board of Directors for the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers and is a member of DRI.

Steph is admitted to practice in the Montana State and Federal Courts.  She is also admitted to practice before most of the Tribal Courts throughout Montana as well as various Tribal Courts in North Dakota.  Her areas of practice include  insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, insurance defense, products liability, negligence, construction litigation, and general litigation.

Outside of the office Steph enjoys running, the outdoors, attending her children's sporting events and cheering for the Steelers.
