Mike was born and raised in Great Falls and
attended Great Falls High School where he graduated valedictorian
of his class. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree
with high honors in Business and French at Concordia
College in Moorhead, Minnesota, Mike attended the
University of Montana School of Law in Missoula. He
graduated in 1994 and began his legal practice as a
County Prosecutor. Mike conducted numerous jury trials
ranging from DUIs to homicide cases. After seven years
of prosecution, Mike entered private practice in 2001. He is
married to Amber Rausch and has one teenage
daughter, Hannah. Mike enjoys cycling, outdoor activities,
singing, and playing the piano.
